Lactalbumin is contained in milk and is obtained from whey. Lactalbumin is found in the milk of many mammals and not only has a great creamy taste to add to baits but this ingredient is a naturally high content of all the essential and branched chain amino acids (BCAA) making it a unique protein source.
Lactalbumin has a protein content of around 90% and supports and stimulates muscle protein synthesis and helps prevent ageing of cells.
It has a high amount of tryptophan which cannot be synthesised by the body but is an essential amino acid that has to be obtained from the food carp eat.
If you are looking for an ingredient to add to an HNV type bait then this is about as good as it can get. We use this ingredient in our boilie range ‘The Catalyst’!
