Spirulina is a natural blue-green algae with a protein content of around 60%. It is a complete protein which means it has all the essential amino acids present. It an excellent source of nutrients, B vitamins and minerals including iron and manganese.
Spirulina is a great natural way to colour boilies or groundbaits, simultaneously adding a complete protein. We like to use up to 25g to give a deep-green colour to boilies and up to 50g per kilo for groundbaits. However, as a natural protein there is no limit to its inclusion.
